La edici\u00f3n 2017 de los prestigiosos World Travel Awards Sudam\u00e9rica<\/strong> \u2013que se realizar\u00e1 el pr\u00f3ximo 9 de setiembre en la Riviera Maya de M\u00e9xico\u2013 cuenta con 41 nominaciones para nuestro pa\u00eds, inform\u00f3 PROMPER\u00da.<\/p>\n

En total son 31 nominaciones para el sector privado \u2013hoteles, cruceros, aeropuertos y agencias de viaje\u2013 y diez como pa\u00eds<\/strong>, entre las que destacan a nuestra capital como Mejor Destino para Reuniones y Conferencias, Mejor Destino de Turismo Deportivo o Mejor Destino para Viajes de Negocios. Asimismo, nuestro pa\u00eds compite como Mejor Destino Culinario \u2013galard\u00f3n que hemos obtenido por cinco a\u00f1os consecutivos\u2013, Mejor Destino Verde, Mejor Destino Cultural y Mejor Destino de Aventura.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, PROMPER\u00da compite como Mejor Oficina de Turismo de la Regi\u00f3n<\/strong>. Las nominaciones peruanas contribuyen a posicionar el Per\u00fa como punto de referencia de la industria del turismo en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Los ganadores de la edici\u00f3n sudamericana de los World Travel Awards (WTA) competir\u00e1n en la edici\u00f3n mundial de estos premios, que se realizar\u00e1 el 10 de diciembre en Phu Quoc, Vietnam.<\/p>\n

Desde 1993 los WTA se han convertido en un extraordinario bar\u00f3metro para medir la excelencia en la industria de los viajes y el turismo en todo el mundo. Los ganadores son elegidos gracias a la votaci\u00f3n del p\u00fablico mediante Internet y la votaci\u00f3n que realizan los expertos del sector a nivel global. \u00a0Seg\u00fan el diario estadounidense The Wall Street Journal, estos son considerados los \u2018Premios Oscar del Turismo\u2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n
